We want you to be confident in your Drivhus purchase. Here's exactly how returns, refunds, and warranty claims work.

30-day return window — unopened boxes

If you change your mind within 30 days of delivery and your boxes are still unopened and undamaged, you can return them for a full refund of the product price.

  • You arrange and pay for return shipping (or drop off at our Etobicoke warehouse).
  • Refund is issued within 5–10 business days of us receiving the returned boxes in their original condition.
  • Original shipping cost (if any) and the installation add-on (if not used) are also refunded.

After assembly — defective parts only

Once you've opened a box and begun assembly, we cannot accept the kit back as a return. However, our 12-month warranty (below) covers manufacturing defects, and we will work with you on any concerns.

12-month warranty

Every Drivhus is covered by a 12-month warranty from the date of delivery against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. If a part is defective, we'll ship you a replacement at no charge.

The warranty covers:

  • Frame components (powder-coated aluminum extrusions, brackets, hardware) — defects in the metal or coating.
  • Polycarbonate panels — UV degradation beyond what's normal, cracks not caused by impact.
  • Doors, vents, and hinges — failure under normal use.

The warranty does NOT cover:

  • Damage from weather conditions exceeding our specs (winds over 115 km/h, snow loads over 30 psf).
  • Damage from improper installation (e.g., skipped anchoring, missing fasteners).
  • Cosmetic wear from normal use (light scratches, panel cleaning marks).
  • Impact damage from fallen trees, vehicles, vandalism, or accidents.
  • Modifications you've made to the structure.

Damaged in transit

Inspect your boxes when they arrive. If any box shows visible damage, photograph it and email info@mearal.com within 48 hours of delivery. We'll send replacement parts at no charge.

How to request a return or warranty claim

  1. Email info@mearal.com with your order number (sent in your confirmation email).
  2. Tell us what happened and attach photos if relevant.
  3. We'll respond within 1–2 business days with next steps — either return instructions, a replacement-parts shipment, or a troubleshooting guide if it's a quick fix.

Refund timing

Approved refunds are issued back to the original payment method via Stripe. Once issued from our end, your bank typically posts the credit within 5–10 business days.
