These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of www.mearal.com (the "Site") and the purchase of products from Mearal. By using the Site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Site or place an order.
About us
Mearal is operated from Etobicoke, Ontario, Canada. We design and sell pre-fabricated polycarbonate greenhouse kits across Canada and the United States.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to place an order.
Pricing and payment
- Prices are shown in CAD by default with a USD toggle. Sales tax (GST/HST in Canada, state sales tax in the US where applicable) is calculated at checkout via Stripe Tax.
- We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay, and Google Pay through Stripe.
- Payment is collected in full at the time of order.
- Prices, specifications, and availability may change without notice.
Shipping and delivery
- Delivery is free anywhere in Canada and the United States.
- Local pickup is available free of charge at our Etobicoke, Ontario warehouse.
- Standard delivery takes 1–2 weeks from order, depending on your location.
- Risk of loss transfers to you upon delivery (or pickup).
- We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers, weather, or events outside our control.
Professional installation (optional)
Professional installation is available across Canada and the USA for $3,300 CAD. Installation is scheduled separately after the kit is delivered. Site preparation (a flat, level surface — wood deck, concrete pad, or compacted gravel base) is your responsibility unless agreed otherwise in writing.
Returns, refunds, and warranty
See our Refunds & Returns Policy for full details. In short: unopened boxes may be returned within 30 days; assembled kits are covered by a 12-month parts-replacement warranty for manufacturing defects.
Use of the Site
You agree not to:
- Use the Site for any unlawful purpose.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Site, our database, or other users' accounts.
- Scrape, harvest, or otherwise extract data from the Site by automated means without our written consent.
- Interfere with the Site's operation, including denial-of-service attacks or transmitting malicious code.
Intellectual property
All content on the Site — including text, images, logos, product designs, illustrations, and the Drivhus name — is owned by Mearal and protected by Canadian and international copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.
Disclaimers
The Site and products are provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, except those expressly set out in our Refunds & Returns Policy or required by applicable law. Performance specifications (snow load, wind rating, assembly time) are based on testing under controlled conditions and may vary in actual installations.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mearal's total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or your purchase is limited to the amount you paid for the product. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to damage to property, lost profits, or crop loss.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify Mearal from any claim arising out of your misuse of the Site or violation of these Terms.
Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Ontario.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Site or placement of new orders after we post updates constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
